Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to plan, coordinate and perform facility maintenance across a designated zone in our Albuquerque facilities, ensuring reliable utilities and safety while following SOPs and budgets.

The role emphasizes preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime, with a high school diploma, 1–3 years general maintenance (healthcare preferred), and a valid NM driver’s license. It’s a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid NM driver's license and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fixtures and equipment within assigned Zone as per SOPs.
• Repair, lubricate and adjust hospital equipment to ensure safety and comfort.
• Prioritize tasks with independence within PHS policies and schedules.
• Evaluate and monitor building and utility systems performance in the zone.
• Help manage the operating budget and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Support other departments with facility maintenance operations.
