Job summary
St. Barnabas Health System in Gibsonia, PA is seeking Maintenance Technicians for our nursing home. You’ll perform routine maintenance across the facility—electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting—and ensure equipment and work areas stay clean and organized.
Requirements include a strong electrical/mechanical repair background and ability to lift 35 lbs; on-call for emergencies and prior senior care experience a plus. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical/mechanical repair background.
- Nursing Home or related senior care experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
- Repair facility and equipment including plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as requested by supervisor.
- Keep work areas clean and equipment/tools properly stored after use.
- Follow and complete preventative maintenance schedules as assigned.
