Qualifications

• Experience in building or healthcare maintenance is required.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code and healthcare compliance is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and facility inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain compliance with Life Safety Code standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document all work performed and update maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues.
• Use maintenance tracking systems to manage work orders.
• Assist with state surveys, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper function and documentation of fire alarm, sprinkler, emergency lighting, and generator systems.
