Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, planting, and other landscaping tasks.
• Maintain and repair interior and exterior door locks, windows, screens, and light fixtures.
• Clean and replace air filters and assist with routine HVAC maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and facility policies.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work.
• Replace ceiling tiles, repair walls, and complete other general maintenance projects as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with building safety activities, including fire drills, safety inspections, and life safety compliance.
• Help ensure fire extinguishers and other life safety equipment are properly maintained and compliant.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Properly maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and facility policies.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
