Job summary

Villa At the Bay is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the facility’s interior and exterior areas.

This role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors by performing routine inspections, addressing maintenance requests, and supporting the overall environmental services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing maintenance duties in a healthcare facility or industrial setting.
• Associates degree or trade certificates, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs to interior and exterior facility areas.
• Lead facility inspections and assist inspectors when needed.
• Address maintenance requests and perform snow/ice removal.
• Repair doors, windows, fixtures, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Maintain and repair electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Keep accurate inventories and documentation.
