Job summary

MediLodge of Ludington is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to perform essential upkeep of the facility and grounds. You’ll handle routine maintenance, inspections, and coordination with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and the ability to communicate with residents and staff to meet daily needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair to keep building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling or replacement projects by contractors.
• Maintains and repairs HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and dryers, and other equipment under supervision.
• Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Conducts and documents routine inspection of fire control and sprinkler systems.
• Maintains weekly facility log of hot water temperature, generator checklist, and fire alarm/sprinkler tests.
• Coordinates/document monthly fire drills.
• Inspects grounds, grass cutting, trimming and related tasks.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
