Job summary

MediLodge of Shoreline is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to perform routine maintenance and repair to ensure a safe, comfortable facility for residents. The role supports HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general upkeep within a skilled nursing environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of building maintenance experience, with strong safety awareness and communication skills for staff and residents' families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling, or replacement projects by contractors.
• Maintains and repairs HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers and other equipment.
• Participates in painting, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Conducts and documents routine inspection of fire control equipment and sprinkler systems.
• Maintains logs for hot water temperature, generator checklist, fire alarm testing, and sprinkler pressure.
• Coordinates and documents monthly fire drills.
• Inspects grounds; cuts grass and performs upkeep.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
