Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Environmental Services & Facilities Technician in Phoenix, AZ to perform skilled housekeeping, maintenance and handyman tasks to care for and maintain the facility and grounds.

You will use knowledge of housekeeping processes, cleaning tools, and minor repairs to keep buildings in pristine condition and compliant with safety standards. This full-time role supports the hospital environment and requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning.
• Working knowledge of: Cleaning best practices and floor care.
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance & Operations: Perform routine, rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot cleaning equipment issues including electrical, mechanical, and process issues independently; identifying and resolving root causes
• Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed
• Work Order & Vendor Coordination: Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submitted by internal departments in a timely manner
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
• Oversee floor care vendor performance
• Inventory & Supply Management: Order housekeeping and EVS supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report on supply status
• Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility
• Compliance & Environment of Care: Report Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance
• Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety, maintenance, and operational readiness
• Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain overall facility cleanliness, including floor care, general cleaning, restroom upkeep, and window cleaning
• Restock supplies and perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support a safe and functional environment
