Job summary

LAZ Parking in Fort Worth, TX is hiring Maintenance Porters to support our healthcare locations. The role focuses on daily janitorial and maintenance tasks, customer interactions, and ensuring safe, clean garages and surface lots.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or GED) and are comfortable with general facilities maintenance; no parking experience required. We offer a $15.00/hour wage, full-time schedules, paid training, uniform provisions, and an inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience with general facility maintenance required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• May need a valid driver’s license and be able to operate Maintenance vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garages and surface lots daily.
• General maintenance tasks: sweeping, wiping surfaces, trash, painting, light bulbs.
• Assist with snow removal and winter upkeep.
• Operate garage/floor sweeper and scrubber as needed.
• Complete daily maintenance checklist efficiently and timely.
• Greet customers, communicate effectively, resolve issues, and build rapport.
• Assist customers at intercom, lobbies, and parking office.
• Promote excellent customer relations with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
