Qualifications

• Associate degree or formal training in facility maintenance or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems and hospital equipment.
• Responds to work requests and pages promptly and professionally.
• Ensures maintenance activities meet safety regulations and hospital standards (OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission).
• Addresses urgent repair requests to minimize disruptions to hospital operations.
• Performs regular inspections and maintains hospital buildings and infrastructure.
• Keeps accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assists with budget management and tracks maintenance supplies and parts.
• Maintains logs of maintenance work and equipment status for oversight.
• Resolves critical maintenance issues quickly to minimize disruptions to patient care.
