Job summary

EDEN EAST is seeking a Maintenance Director for a full-time role at a Pennsylvania nursing facility. The position ensures all equipment and utilities are maintained while keeping grounds and safety programs in excellent condition.

You will manage preventive maintenance and coordinate with engineering to support operations and resident care. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus building codes and OSHA safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English; follow written and oral directions.
• Experience with plant/equipment maintenance in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to be on 24-hour call and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Schedules repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Directs maintenance of utility systems to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs and improves operations.
• Recommends measures to enhance equipment condition and performance.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies for operations.
• Oversees grounds maintenance and safety committee activities.
• Performs duties in accordance with policies, laws, and standards.
