Job summary

St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, PA is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary client-care environment. You will perform daily cleaning, laundry duties, and waste disposal while following infection-control standards.

Onsite role with no remote work. A high school diploma is preferred, prior healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus, and basic English communication is required. CPR/de-escalation certification may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, speaking skills in English required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain sanitation and cleanliness of facility.
• Cleans rooms, baths, laboratories, offices and halls; operates cleaning equipment.
• Laudners soiled linens and handles laundry as directed.
• Discards waste, follows infection control standards and SDS guidelines.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and arranges decorations and furniture as needed.
