Job summary

The St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, PA is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy client care environment.

You will perform general cleaning, floor care, laundry, and waste disposal while following infection control standards and safety guidelines. On-site, you’ll work with sanitation equipment, prepare rooms for activities, and support supervisors on supplies.

Qualifications

• English language and basic reading/writing abilities required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain sanitation in facility.
• Cleans rooms, baths, offices and halls; uses buffers, scrubbers and vacuums.
• Disposes trash, launders soiled linens, and handles laundry per guidelines.
• Maintains supply inventory and ensures equipment is stored after each shift.
• Follows universal precautions and infection control standards.
