Job summary

St. Joseph Institute for Addiction in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and support daily operations.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, some housekeeping experience, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines. CPR and de-escalation certification may be required; training available upon hire. EOE.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a commercial/clinical/healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking skills and understanding English sufficient to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain sanitation and order in the facility.
• Cleans rooms, baths, laboratories, offices and halls; uses buffers, scrubbers and related equipment.
• Operates commercial washers and dryers; launders linens as directed.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and checks linen storage daily.
• Follows infection control standards and safety guidelines during tasks.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and arranges decorations as needed.
