Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Electrician responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the electrical distribution system, lighting, and backup generators in a healthcare facility. The role includes performing preventive maintenance and responding to service and emergency calls to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The position requires a valid local electrical license and experience with commercial/institutional electrical systems, with standard hours of 8:00am–4:30pm, and

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a registered electrician working with commercial or institutional electrical systems.
• Valid local municipality electrical license as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance of all building electrical equipment, making repairs as necessary.
• Responds to service and emergency calls regarding facility electrical issues or devices.
• Performs electrical work related to construction.
• Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH, Joint Commission, ICRA and National Electric Code requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
