Job summary

Montrose Health Center Operations LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform general building repairs, preventative maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep facilities compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, fire safety support, and accurate record-keeping, while adhering to infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of building maintenance and basic repair procedures.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry).
• Complete routine preventative maintenance inspections of the building and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and ice prevention.
• Assist with fire safety inspections and life safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Support daily facility operations across departments as needed.
