Job summary

AdventHealth in DeLand, FL is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform repairs on mechanical systems, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and related equipment. You will maintain records, respond to work orders, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0+ years of experience, valid driver’s license, and basic English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paints, chemicals and related materials.
• Must document records neatly and accurately.
• Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals.
• Must read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems and structures.
• Respond to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Paint interior/exterior surfaces and perform minor carpentry.
• Assist in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith and alarm system work.
