Job summary

HonorHealth in Shea Medical Center, Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee repair, replacement, and renovation of facilities. You may supervise leads and liaise with vendors, architects, and inspectors to ensure projects meet regulatory and budgetary requirements.

The role involves coordinating with hospital departments to develop scopes, schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality and compliance across in-house and contracted work. A PMP or similar credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience required.
• 3 years of related project management experience in diverse and integrated environments required.
• 5 years of construction project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Organize the project functions and personnel to ensure effective and efficient project development.
• Assign personnel responsibilities and direct and monitor their progress to ensure quality performance.
• Develop master schedules to determine project priorities based on staffing, equipment, and supply needs.
• Estimate project costs and develop the Schedule of Values; prepare change order requests as required.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants and ensure compliance with building/healthcare codes; interface with OSHA, DHS, and local authorities.
• Develop purchase orders for project materials and stock items; verify pay requests from sub-contractors.
• Monitor progress of sub-contractors and suppliers; maintain project cost accounting for Finance.
• Communicate with AVP Real Estate and project sponsor on all areas affecting construction (HVAC, medical gas, electrical, plumbing).
• Ensure all approvals are obtained and as-built drawings filed upon completion.
