Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics in Haskell, NJ is seeking reliable Porters to join our team. The role involves cleaning, trash removal, and maintaining a safe environment in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 year of related experience
Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet vac, and carpet machine
Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors a plus

Responsibilities

Remove miscellaneous debris and remove trash
Clean floors by washing, vacuuming and polishing floors
Keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Enhance housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
