Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis is seeking a Manager, Facilities to lead daily facility operations, oversee maintenance and vendor management, and ensure safe, cost-efficient service aligned with hospital goals.

You will manage Life Safety and utilities compliance, monitor budgets, supervise staff and contractors, and coordinate with department heads to meet performance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of healthcare facilities management experience.
• Formal education in business/engineering is preferred.
• Certifications in facility management are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate facilities in a cost-effective and safe condition per approved budget.
• Serve as regulatory compliance manager for Life Safety and Utilities.
• Ensure Life Safety and Utility testing is performed on time.
• Maintain proactive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Review expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies and contracts.
• Assist with facility budget preparation and forecasting.
• Communicate objectives to staff to build the team and align with goals.
• Plan, direct, and monitor performance of Operations and Maintenance staff.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to staff and subcontractors.
