Job summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operation and maintenance across multiple sites in the Cayuga Health network. You will supervise Plant Maintenance, Plant Operations, and Grounds, manage safety, water programs, and budget guidance, and help drive capital projects and preventive maintenance programs.

Candidate should have HVAC, plumbing, electrical experience in healthcare, 2+ years healthcare facilities experience, and pursue CHFM certification.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades experience in healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and life-safety systems.
• Willingness to pursue CHFM certification.
• Experience with facility management software and maintenance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of the facility across multiple sites.
• Supervise Plant Maintenance, Plant Operations and Grounds teams.
• Manage safety programs, including emergency procedures and incident documentation.
• Assist in capital budget submissions and maintenance of the operating budget.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure PM completion across equipment inventory.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and support after-hours issues.
