Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Healthcare Facilities Management Director to lead the Plant Operations & Maintenance teams within a hospital campus environment. You will plan, prioritize, and control all functions under the contract to ensure reliable facility performance.

The role requires a engineering-based degree, prior director-level experience in healthcare facilities, and strong knowledge of building systems, regulatory codes, and CMMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required or preferred.
• Director-level responsibility in engineering, maintenance or construction in a healthcare institution.
• Ability to read, comprehend and transmit complicated instructions clearly.
• Previous facilities management experience in an acute care hospital.
• Proficiency with CMMS, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Plant Operations & Maintenance departments within the hospital campus.
• Plan, prioritize, and control functions under the contract scope.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including energy savings programs.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state health dept, EPA, DEP, ADA, OSHA, and related codes.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Supervise performance evaluations and staff development.
