Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH), part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep the facility safe and functional for patients, staff, and visitors. You will manage HVAC systems, perform general repairs, maintain grounds, and assist with special event setup in a 126-bed inpatient psychiatric setting.

Ideal candidates will have 5 years of construction or maintenance experience, be proficient with computers, and able to respond promptly to alarms while

Qualifications

• 5 years construction and/or maintenance experience.
• Should be highly proficient in computer use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC systems and operation using Building Automation System; assist and manage HVAC contractors.
• General repair, painting, and maintenance of building.
• Maintain grounds and coordinate lawn care and snow removal contractors.
• Carry out routine carpentry and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare facility for special functions (tables, chairs, equipment).
• Respond to alarms and codes per safety policies.
• Provide rotational weekly on-call coverage as designated by department director.
