Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a trade school or equivalent, or two years of related work experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, independent and critical thinking, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance calls from patient floors and departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect, clean, lubricate equipment.
• Change filters, belts, bulbs and other consumables as needed.
• Complete PM work orders and document in maintenance system.
• Assist other tradesmen or contractors as directed by supervisor.
• Install and maintain mechanical equipment; monitor boiler and HVAC systems.
• Monitor gauges, temperatures, pressures and electrical readings; test water quality.
• Identify malfunctions, schedule repairs, and coordinate with departments.
