Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to repair and maintain clinic equipment, facilities, and building systems. You will manage work orders, perform safety evaluations, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliable operations across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities maintenance, professional certifications in electrical/HVAC/plumbing or drywall framing, and a related degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Certification in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing or Drywall Framing.
• A related degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures.
• Manage work order requests and preventive maintenance programs.
• Evaluate and address health and safety hazards at locations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and replacements.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Maintain Life Safety systems (fire alarm, emergency lighting, power).
• Oversee exterior systems including lighting and irrigation controllers.
• Ensure OSHA safety guidelines are followed and building inspections are conducted.
• Assist with office moves and basic workstation setups.

With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.The Facilities Maintenance Engineer provides repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures at Women’s Care healthcare clinics under the direction of the Facilities Director.Learn, apply, prioritize, and manage work order requests utilizing set Facility Maintenance Work Request systems.Take responsibility for overall building maintenance to include management of projects, safety evaluations, preventive maintenance and overall building repairs of all assigned facilities.Ability to identify and correct any potential health and safety hazards at all assigned locations.Work alongside and manage external contractors making any necessary repairs.Select, order, and be able to install or manage repairs of all building systems and equipment.Learn, operate, and understand Building Mechanical systems to include HVAC, plumbing and electrical circuits distribution as needed.Ability to evaluate, identify and manage repairs of all building Life Safety systems to include fire alarm and suppression systems, emergency lighting systems, along with emergency power systems.Learn, manage, and evaluate exterior building systems to include lighting and irrigation systems and the timers that control.Follow a set building condition evaluation program that follows and maintains OSHA Safety Guidelines.Be familiar with meeting rooms connectivity of power, lighting, cubicle assembly, and all other general conditions.Assist with office changes including desk moves and basic workstation set-ups as needed.Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:5+ years of facilities maintenance experience.Certification in one of the following trades to include: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing or Drywall Framing.Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.A relevant degree in a related field such as Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is preferred but not required.Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.WHY JOIN WOMEN'S CARE?We Offer:Competitive compensation packageHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and paid holidays401k planAn opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives every day!At Women’s Care, we believe that our success is built on a foundation of strong, shared values.
