Job summary

Tri Cities Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in North Cumberland, KY is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team and ensure safe, compliant facility operations for residents.

This full-time role requires hands-on knowledge of HVAC, boilers, generators, and building systems, plus strategic program planning, interdepartmental coordination, and emergency response with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance; healthcare setting experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, heating and air conditioning.
• Ability to make independent decisions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and oversee the Maintenance Department operations and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with Housekeeping, Dietary, Nursing, and Activities.
• Prioritize and manage unscheduled maintenance to ensure resident comfort and facility functionality.
• Maintain equipment, grounds, and property through preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct regular safety inspections, and oversee fire prevention programs.
• Coordinate and monitor external maintenance services to meet standards.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Administrator, including accident reports.
• Participate in surveys and audits, addressing deficiencies with corrective actions.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment for efficient operations.
