Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced maintenance leader to oversee the facility's maintenance operations in Cleveland, OH. You will guide daily activities, optimize preventative programs, and ensure reliable equipment and safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and the ability to manage budgets and coordinate with internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management in a leadership role.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and work orders.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and maintenance docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and inspection routines.
• Oversee the upkeep and reliability of facility systems, equipment, tools.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and coordinate effective resolution to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, parts inventory, supplies, and vendor service agreements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to repairs, inspections, compliance, and equipment performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and extend the life of assets and equipment.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff as needed.
