Job summary

Legacy Health in Gresham, Oregon is seeking an Engineer to maintain and repair building and equipment systems across our campus. You will ensure safe, reliable environmental control and support patient care operations.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, refrigeration, emergency power, door hardware, and fire safety systems, plus routine maintenance of electrical systems. Four years of experience and an apprenticeship journeyman path are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of apprenticeship journeyman engineer.
• At least four years experience in facilities/engineering.
• Knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Service refrigeration systems and related accessories.
• Repair and calibrate pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Maintain emergency electrical systems for outages.
• Test fire safety equipment and alarms.
• Support safe operation of patient care equipment.
