Job summary

The Oklahoma City VA Health Care System is recruiting for one Healthcare Engineer within the Facilities Management Service at the Oklahoma City, OK location. Qualifications

Knowledge of current and evolving concepts and principles of general engineering.
Skill in construction, capital planning and multiple healthcare system portfolio management including budget development and tracking.
Ability to collaborate with persons having different viewpoints, goals or objectives to achieve a common understanding by justifying and negotiating.
Ability to interpret guidelines and exercise judgment in interpreting and adapting existing guides, developing new policies.
Ability to coordinate with regional facilities and staff for prioritization and capital planning alignment.
Ability to adapt and apply trends in healthcare delivery systems impacting long-term capital assets.
Ability to consult and collaborate with all organizational levels in a national healthcare organization regarding strategic and financial activities.
Ability to implement and sustain a capital asset and construction program meeting codes and regulations.
