Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a healthcare setting. You will follow infection prevention protocols and support supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a pay rate of $16.20 per hour and the chance to contribute to patient care and hospital safety while working with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection prevention, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties and deliver linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to quality standards.
• Participate in training and staff meetings.
