Forefront is dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment. The Environmental Services Technician helps ensure patient comfort by performing daily cleaning, floor care, waste management, and laundry following infection prevention protocols and company policies.

This full-time hourly role includes extended hours as needed and a pay rate of $13.75 per hour. The team emphasizes a supportive culture, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within our facilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection prevention, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
