Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join our team in Troy, MI. This PRN hourly role supports cleaning, disinfection, and laundry tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary environment for patients and visitors within a healthcare setting.

You will follow established infection prevention protocols, operate cleaning equipment safely, and assist with room setup and light maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms and areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• May perform laundry duties.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols (OSHA, CMS, and TJC).

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms, move furniture, and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Attend training and staff meetings and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
