Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient areas clean, safe, and welcoming in a healthcare setting. You will follow infection prevention protocols and assist with laundry and light maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Performs cleaning, disinfection, and sanitization to organizational standards.
• Operates cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Complies with infection prevention and safety protocols (OSHA, CMS, TJC).
• Willingness to perform laundry duties and light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
