Job summary

Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH, is looking for a dependable Housekeeper (Environmental Services) on a full-time basis to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, stocking supplies, and upholding infection control standards under the supervision of the Plant Operations Director. This is a full-time, 8-hour shift role Monday–Friday with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with material management/exchange cart system.
• Ability to understand inventory documentation.
• Able to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.
• Able to demonstrate communication skills by conveying information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, common areas, and public spaces.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, and remove trash throughout the facility.
• Clean surfaces using approved disinfectants and cleaning procedures.
• Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and linens.
• Maintain safe storage of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance issues.
• Support infection prevention and safety standards.
• Respond to facility emergencies.
