Job summary

Parkview Health in Ohio is seeking an Environmental Services associate to help provide a clean and safe environment for patients, families, guests, and staff. You will work as part of a team or independently to clean offices, exam rooms, public areas and restrooms, as well as patient care areas, using specialized equipment and cleaning products.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow hospital policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, staff, patients, and visitors according to company standards.
Must have general knowledge of cleaning and customer service skills.
Must be detail oriented and have a willingness to follow procedures, perform repetitive tasks, and to work independently.
Willingness to work rotating weekends and assigned holiday schedule.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push up to 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental services tasks to provide a clean and safe environment for patients, families, guests and staff.
Clean office areas, exam rooms, public areas and restrooms, ancillary areas, patient care rooms, and complete special projects as assigned.
Follow all policies, procedures, safety, and privacy requirements; maintain professional appearance and clear communication.
May perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing.
