Job summary

Children's Health is looking for an EVS (Housekeeping) Tech I in Plano, Texas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. The technician will perform cleaning duties in patient areas and must adhere to infection control standards. The role starts as temporary but may lead to a permanent position based on performance.

Qualifications

• 6 months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate effective use of computers and/or movable devices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning patient care areas including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
• Maintain assigned equipment/cleaning carts for cleanliness.
• Transport waste to the appropriate disposal area while identifying waste streams.
• Utilize bed tracking system to identify cleaning needs.
• Adhere to patient privacy and infection control guidelines.
