Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and administrative functions of the assigned EVS function.
• Implement short- and long-term goals consistent with EVS and clinical units.
• Manage quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide direct supervision of assigned EVS team members.
• Ensure performance management programs for all members.
• Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.
• Evaluate and mentor all team members regularly.
• Assist with development and implementation of programs for professional growth.
• Participate in development of environmental services operating and capital budgets.
• Increase efficiency and reduce expenses in EVS activities.
