Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in Lansing, MI seeks an Environmental Services Manager to lead the EVS team and coordinate with hospital departments to maintain sanitary, orderly facilities. You will oversee staffing, training, and quality controls while promoting Xanitos’ culture and service excellence.

The role requires healthcare EVS experience, floorcare and payroll familiarity, and flexibility to work varying shifts. Vaccination status reporting is required by policy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection and interview candidates; schedule days off, holidays and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to reach their potential; discipline per policy.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and conduct follow-ups; report findings to the Department Director.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, attractive, and orderly environments.
• Demonstrate Xanitos culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate leadership in meeting performance plans.
