Job summary

Crothall Healthcare Environmental Services Intern at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, MA, is a Summer 2027 internship offering exposure to frontline operations, vendor relations, and patient experience improvements.

You will work with leaders in EVS, perform hands-on tasks, participate in safety, training, and continuous improvement projects, earning $21-$23 per hour. This paid internship does not include PTO or benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college/university junior or senior.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Excellent customer service and organization skills.
• Proficient with Windows-based Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in Crothall Accelerated Manager Program after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational standards
• Participate in department safety and maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Respond to concerns with urgency and take corrective action
• Maintain the integrity of security at the facility
• Identify and correct facility quality assurance concerns; timely follow-up
• Bring creativity and innovation to the Crothall Healthcare program
• Ensure staff receive proper orientation, initial, and ongoing training
• Provide and monitor guidance and motivation to associates
• Handle special requests or projects as assigned
