• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals and objectives.
• Public speaking skills; effective communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage staff participatively, prioritize tasks, and develop budgets.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees housekeeping department operations.
• Coordinate activities with other hospital departments.
• Develops and manages department operating budget and expenditures.
• Communicates with administration and hospital staff.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises department functions.
• Sets work standards and workflows.
• Creates and enforces policies and procedures.
• Mentors staff to encourage creativity and innovation.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Aligns goals with facility objectives and performance plans.
• Demonstrates leadership in meeting performance targets.
• Reads and applies Total Quality Management processes.
• Develops and maintains staff job descriptions.
• Encourages staff participation in education programs.
