Pelican Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in North Cape May, NJ, seeks a dedicated Director of Environmental Services to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will lead a team, coordinate with nursing, attend morning EVS meetings, and ensure timely room turnover and sanitation.

Ideal candidates have prior EVS supervisory experience, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to infection

Formación

• Experience supervising environmental services or housekeeping teams.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and infection prevention best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and coordinate a team for daily housekeeping operations.
• Attend daily 9:15 AM meetings to review EVS priorities.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure rooms are prepared after admissions/discharges.
• Maintain records of anticipated/completed discharges for timely turnover.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas meet cleanliness and infection control standards.
• Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff.
• Monitor supplies and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
