Job summary

Highmark Health offers the Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship to gain practical exposure to enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning within a healthcare setting.

You will work with risk professionals and business leaders to strengthen the ERM framework and governance processes, building analytical and communication skills through hands‑on projects.

Qualifications

• Full or part‑time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree related to Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or related discipline (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide services to day‑to‑day operating objectives of the assigned area.
• Under supervision, provide entry‑level professional services with guidance and mentoring.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
