A leading healthcare-focused investment firm is looking to add a Long-Biased Equity Analyst or Associate to its investment team, with a focus on Therapeutics / Oncology.

The Role

• Conduct deep fundamental research across healthcare, with a focus on therapeutics and oncology
• Develop differentiated investment ideas and build high-conviction views on companies
• Take meaningful ownership of a defined set of names and develop deep expertise across the space
• Analyze clinical, commercial, financial and industry developments and translate them into investment decisions
• Monitor companies closely and stay ahead of key developments, catalysts and risks
• Participate in both public-market research and private-company diligence
• Work collaboratively across the investment team while maintaining significant autonomy around coverage

Ideal Background

• 3-7 years of relevant experience
• Healthcare / Therapeutics equity research experience, ideally with Oncology
• Experience across Immunology, Rare Disease, Diagnostics or Early-Commercial Therapeutics also highly relevant
• Strong preference for top-tier equity research or high-quality fundamental buy-side experience
• Strong fundamental investment mindset with a long-term, long-biased orientation
• Able to understand complex scientific information and translate it into clear investment conclusions
• Exceptional curiosity, analytical ability and information-processing skills
