Wedbush Securities seeks an Equity Research Associate to join a leading healthcare coverage team. You will evaluate oncology, rare-disease, and platform-technology assets, combining scientific analysis with finance to inform investment theses.

Qualifications

• Advanced life sciences degree preferred; Bachelor’s required.
• FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 86 & 87) preferred; must obtain within 120 days.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific and market due diligence on covered healthcare names.
• Interpret publications and conference data to inform investment theses.
• Survey key medical opinion leaders to validate assumptions.
• Build, update, and maintain financial models and company databases.
• Prepare and publish research notes; interact with management and sales teams.
