Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to manage all payment processing for insurance and patient payments. The role requires accurate EOB coding, timely posting, and effective spreadsheet management within a collaborative finance team at our Omaha location.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of data entry or balancing experience, strong computer skills, and good communication in English. A high school diploma/GED is required, with bookkeeping classes preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Bookkeeping classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manual payment process for insurance and patient pays.
• Accurately code and prepare all EOBs for manual posting including “0” pays.
• Primary payer manual postings maintained within 48 hours.
• Accurate preparing of patient pays with manual posting in 24 hours.
• Scanning coversheet process and proper batch ID matching.
• Timely processing of EFTs and paper checks; update spreadsheets accordingly.
