Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to help maintain a clean, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing care environment. You will interact with patients, visitors, and staff while performing daily room turnovers and cleaning duties according to infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, handling waste safely, and following PPE protocols. A High School Diploma or GED and prior healthcare exposure are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous healthcare experience.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfection principles; safe chemical handling and equipment use.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies and equipment; manage waste and dispose per regulations and regulatory requirements.
