Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, assisting with room setup and light maintenance, and reporting issues to supervision. Strong team communication and time management are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, infection prevention, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties and deliver linens/uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols (OSHA, CMS, TJC).
• Assist in setting up rooms and light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and follow departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
