Job summary

Hyp-Tro Building Services in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Environmental Service Custodian. Morning shift 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and night shift 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday-Friday; duties include cleaning patient rooms, disinfecting bathrooms, dusting, mopping floors, restocking supplies, and waste removal.

Under supervision, you will follow safety and cleanliness standards, wear uniform, and arrive on time.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma not required; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• 1 year housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hotel setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust mopping, high/low dusting, cleaning of exam rooms including beds and fixtures, disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures, replenishing paper supplies and soap, trash removal of non-infectious and infectious waste, vacuuming, wall washing, blinds dusting, window sill wiping, cleaning identified medical devices and instruments.
• Removing black marks off floors, mopping floors and hallways and other assigned areas.
• Ability to follow basic oral and written instructions in English; lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
