Sanford Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a safe, sanitary environment in patient and resident areas. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and corridors in accordance with infection control and safety guidelines.

The role requires ability to lift up to 40-50lbs, standing for long periods, and flexible shifts which may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and chemicals helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors.
• Clean patient/resident rooms, hallways and common areas to health standards.
• Wear PPE and keep supplies and equipment clean and stocked.
• Assist in laundry areas when needed and follow infection control guidelines.
• Operate and use cleaning tools and machines as directed.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
