Job summary

This full-time day-shift role requires at least one year of management experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and solid knowledge of fire safety equipment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Read, know, and follow facility policies.
• Knowledge of fire alarm panels and pull stations.
• Knowledge of the location of and how to use all fire extinguishers in the facility.
• Knowledge of roof equipment and other equipment in general.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least one year prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and supervises all Environmental Services in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Tours the facility to assure cleanliness, neatness, and attractiveness at all times.
• Prepares and monitors the work schedule for environmental services staff and ensures adequate coverage.
• Manages vacation/holiday scheduling and payroll-related documents.
• Prepares and/or monitors evaluations for environmental services employees.
• Reviews environmental policies and procedures for compliance with regulations and facility standards.
• Serves on Safety Committee and adheres to safety practices.
• Identifies and studies environmental services needs and assists in solutions.
• Assists with monitoring/testing of fire alarm system, generators, paging system, etc.
